Love these for my Thoroughbred mare. She keeps them on even while sprinting in the field!I bought these instead of my usual Shire's Arma bell boots and I'm sorry I did. They are thinner and less sturdy overall, although they were cheaper. My Arma's are still going strong and these have already come apart.Had to send back because large was too big for my thoroughbred. However, the boots are very good quality and the double velcro it a very strong.I go through a lot of these. They are great boots for the price and seem to hold up wellGreat basic rubber bell boots have stayed on well, and velcro has held up two months. No rubs or sores on horse and he wears these 24/7. Easily cleaned.Durable for constant use. My gelding forged back feet into front and I need to keep shoes on. He is turned out in these 24/7 with no rubs or abrasions. Much easier than rubber bells.I usually use tough 1 but our size was not available. These were in pieces in less than a monthNice and sturdyI ordered the large size bell boot because it was used to protect my horse's deep laceration around the bulb of the heel.
